Leaders Retreat 7-10june 'Revolutionary Road'
Hey Awesome People Out There!!! I'm back from Leader's retreat! Really miss it... Did alot of funny stuff especially with Kenneth and Sam as my room mates... HAHA! =D LOVE my group, SOMPOP!!! POP POP POP!!! =]
Anyway, I went to the retreat not knowing what to expect. Weeks before the retreat I was so far from God, I stopped doing my daily devotion. God was not first in my life, I stopped listening to Christian music and drifted so far from God. I was a weekend Christian, never had I drifted so far from God. I stopped praying to God too... But God used this camp to change all that! On the first day during the dedication service at the start of camp, I broke down during the worship and just cried the moment I prayed to Him... During the first day's night service, during the altar call, one of the groups to respond to the altar call was for those who had drifted away from God. I went to the front and had a great encounter with God again =D
Day 2, there was a game called crossroads. It was a station game and the point that the camp com were trying to get through to us was that if God tells you that if you evangelise to person A, he will get saved for sure but you don't really know person A. So you need to get through person B and C to get to know person A. Don't just get though person B and C to get to your objective instead, grab that opportunity to reach out to person B and C too! Through that game, I'm inspired to grab every chance to evangelise! Evangelism should be a lifestyle! God has called every singly one of us to be a fisher of men! =]
Day 3 totally rocked! The best part of when they brought us to a kite museum then we learnt to make our own kite and then there was a huge gigantic field(never seen a field that big) where we flew our kites and had a kite competition, seeing which group had more kites... haha, then after that we had about an hour of free time around the field... It felt really awesome, just being away from everything, so relaxed... Appreciating the simple things in life... =]
The night part rocked big time too!!! It was like more of a celebration, they set up a stage, table and chairs around the pool... Then the dinner was BBQ... Was awesome!!! WHOO!!! =] Then my group performed 'I'm Yours' haha... =]
Day 4, today! It really rocked! service was really awesome! Alot of writing of cards and all, really encouraging =] I wish it was the first day again...
"Dear God, come and run my life the way you want to, I want to make evangelism a lifestyle. I want to surrender my life, my dreams, my plans and all to you. Thank You for forgiving me of all my sins, Love YOU DADDY GOD!!! =DDD"
My hotel room, my room buddies were Kenneth Nah and Samuel Ng... haha =]
