A Week Of Affirmation
It all started on Monday night when I felt I was not living a Christ-like life. So, I decided to do this, every week, identify a certain characteristic Jesus had, and carry it with me for the entire week. And each week, the list just gets longer =]
So, this week was 'affirmation'
It sure felt good, being affirming, although many a time I say stuff that I don't mean, I feel kinda bad after awhile cos I know it's not what Jesus would have said. I did spoke un-affirming words this week but at least there's a control now of what I say =]
It feels good when you're in a community where people are affirming! Words are very powerful, God created the world with words, "let there be light" and there was light. So let's use words to affirm one another instead of putting people down! =]
