A Vision About Repentance
Today during the leaders day of fasting prayer meeting, I think it was a vision that I saw... Anyway what I saw was,
It was raining heavily with thunder and lightning. I saw a man in his room in great distress. He started writing his sins and things in his life that he wanted to let go of. He wrote a few stuff then after writing something he wanted to let go of (a broken relationship to be specific), he got really frustrated and he crushed the paper and threw it at the wall... The crushed paper hit the wall, bounced of it and landed at some corner of his room. Very symbolic huh, crushing a paper written with sins and stuff... Well, the man didn't feel any better, in fact he felt even worse. He stood up, walked to the crushed paper, took it and started tearing it into pieces, then he threw it into the bin. Only then did he feel peace and refreshed.
Alright, so what I think this vision means is that, when we sin, lets not put our sins aside and forget about it. Because the sin is going to stay somewhere in our hearts. But instead, just like how the man tore the piece of crushed paper, lets tear and break our sins through repentance and let no sin dwell in any corner of our hearts. =]
