Being a listening ear
Today I was at a basketball court skating, and there was an old man playing basketball there alone.
He suddenly came to me and told me that yesterday got some robbery at some place den he was also saying stuff like the world very hypocrite and he was complaining.
Den he asked me something funny, he said: " you today off day ah?"
So i told him i was a student. haha
And he said oh. Den he continued playing his basketball while i skate. awhile later he told me that just now got one young couple sitting around there smiling at him as he played . so he said he smiled back. And he said these people so kapo.
I laughed, etc..
Well, sometimes its not so much about telling people what to do, sometimes we just need to be a listening ear. We won't know how the person is exactly feeling.
I guess being a listening ear is important.

Short but powerful message
Today I had to get my hair cut cos teacher said my hair long.
After my tuition, I went to cut my hair at this shop where my mother knew the owner. It was just run by 2-3 sisters. And they accepted Christ a few years ago.
as one of them was cutting my hair, she said,it is important to pray. When you pray, the bad company in school won't dare to touch you. Dun let the bad company in school influence you, you influence them!
And she also said, let others see the difference in you, don't be like, oh im a christian but your no different from the rest.
Thats what she said but she said it in chinese, so this was a translation :D
Although it was a short message but I felt that it was very powerful! :D
This shows that you don't need a long message to be powerful!
Jan 2007 - NOW!
Hey! today school was rather different, I felt that I encountered God in school. Like during english, after writing journal, i fell asleep and I dreamt about church people and all. And there was a peaceful feeling. When I woke up I went to the toilet and on my way there, for the 1st time in school, I felt like I was in church sitting in the atrium with the wind blowing. It was a peaceful feeling i use to get last year when in church. This year feels different.
In the toilet, I just thought of how different i have become from last year. How things have changed, I really thank God for forgiving me and bringing me to where I am now.
from someone who used to curse and swear, who wanted attention, who felt that life was meaningless to who I am now!
Without God in my life, I would probably be some lost soul following the ways of the world..
School has changed for me. Even from last term till now. School used to be a chore, now i find school fun. I used to also think that I would never be able to feel God the way I do in church until today. It was a feeling of brokeness. I felt like I was running into God's arms saying a big : " I Love You!"
Jonathan
Well, today during 2nd service in superlife, I met a boy name Jonathan, his aunt brought him to church, his parents weren't christians. He told me that he was in America for one year but he was born in Singapore! And now he's back! :D
He asked quite a number of questions and it was inspiring to see that he wants to know more of God!

He also told me that his favourite story in the Bible was Noah's ark.
My heart just broke when I saw his drawing!
Aunty cathie later talked to him and he decided to give his life to God and he accepted Christ!
"Dear God, i pray that You will come and protect Jonathan and let his parents come to know You. I pray that He will continue to grow in You and I pray that his parents will see the change in Him and want to come to know You too! and help him be able to keep coming every sunday to meet with You, God. In Jesus name I pray Amen!"

Hey sry guys for long time no updates.. haha.
Have been busy with school and all..
Yesterday was a fun day :D We celebrated cy's birthday by buying him fishballs! haha!
And after that I went to Benton's house to skate and then to Ben lee's house, cos i was meeting my parents around there but they were not there yet.
